Help:Biographies of Living Persons

As this wiki documents information about the Hearts of Iron IV modding community, there will be times where living people are the focus of pages. This includes individual modders (if they are particularly notable within the community) and people in (alt-)historical mods who are still alive today. While this later category tends to be reserved for people in modern day mods, such as Millenium Dawn, that isn't always the case, with some people in mods focusing on earlier periods also still being alive. For a full list of those included, see the alive people category.
For both groups, it is essential that they are written about in a way that is respectful and sensitive. As such, all content aboyt living people should abide by the Biographies of Living Persons (BLP) policy. Similar to Wikipedia's equivalent policy, the BLP is based on two core policies:
- Neutral point of view (NPOV)
- Verifiability
NPOV involves portraying the facts as they are, without changing them/referring to them in a certain way to provide a biased narrative. Verifiability involves properly referencing sources, and making sure to differentiate between fiction (both in-game and in real life) and fact.
